Do I get the same polarised performance as non-prescription Fortis lenses?

Yes. Our goal is both: your prescription vision and genuine fishing-grade polarisation that kills surface glare so you can see into the water.

Do I need to send my frames in?

No. You select a Fortis frame style and we glaze that chassis with your prescription. We don’t request third-party frames to be mailed in.

Can you do photochromic / SWITCH in prescription?

Often, yes. Photochromic (light-reactive) prescription options are available for many frames and powers—tell us you’re interested when you submit your details and we’ll confirm suitability for your chosen frame and RX.

Can you adjust tint for the style of fishing I do?

Yes. For coloured water/under trees we suggest brighter, higher-transmission tints (e.g., Amber). For clear, bright conditions we lean Brown, Green or Grey. For all-day mixed light, photochromic SWITCH can make sense. Tell us how you fish and we’ll recommend the best tint.

What if I only need help for close-up rig tying?

We can optimise for near vision instead of distance if rig tying is your priority, but that reduces utility for scanning water at range. We’ll discuss your main use and build toward that.

Will you tell me if my prescription won’t work in the frame I’ve picked?

Yes. If a frame’s wrap/shape and your prescription don’t pair well (e.g., high correction with heavy wrap), we’ll recommend a better match before anything is finalised.
