Arjen Uitbeijerse is originally from Holland but fishes all over Europe in pursuit of quite possibly the largest Carp that swim the land! He’s a very experienced angler, usually targeting a particular single fish on a busy ‘pay’ lake, and often outwitting them too. No mean feat by any stretch of the imagination, especially when some of the fish are notoriously tricky to catch and you only have 7 days to do it, like his 91 pound PB, the famous Scar Fish that resided in Les Graviers. When not in his office frantically typing away at his keyboard editing his magazine Spiegel, Arjen may be found camped out on an island far away, in amongst the tall pine trees possibly at the famous Rainbow Lake or also quite possibly, a lake most people would never have heard of….
