Rest, dream and enjoy. These are a few key words for my experience in fishing. Experience nature in a pure way. For a moment no people around me. Fled from reality but also fled from the busy life with the associated responsibilities. A time to put things in perspective. But the most important: the experience of absolute freedom. But of course with one goal: to catch a carp. Where carp swims, I want to catch them. It is a drive. A hunting instinct. Preferably in an environment where I am myself appointed. Because I am a loner when I’m out fishing.
"The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination" (Don Williams, Jr.)
