General enquiries & product advice

For questions about products, sizing, lens choice, availability, or anything else day-to-day:

When you get in touch, it helps if you can tell us what you’re actually trying to solve. For example:
– “I’m looking for a waterproof jacket for winter overnighters.”
– “Which lens tint should I be using for coloured water under trees?”
– “Do you have this frame in stock anywhere near me?”
That lets us point you at the right product first time instead of guessing.

Prescription sunglasses

If you’re interested in prescription polarised fishing sunglasses, please include:
– The frame style you’re interested in
– A clear photo or PDF of your current prescription
– Your PD (pupillary distance), if you have it
– How you mainly fish (e.g. margins, clear pits, long sessions in mixed light)
We’ll confirm what’s possible for your prescription and which lens option makes sense.

Stockists & trying on in person

Want to try frames on your face, check lens tints in real light, or get sized up for waterproofs / salopettes / boots?
Use our Approved Stockists page to find your nearest retailer.

If you’re travelling specifically for a certain item, we always recommend calling the shop first to confirm they have the exact style / size / colour you’re looking for.

Warranty, faults & returns

If you believe you’ve got a manufacturing fault or you’ve been told to return something under warranty, please do not send the item here via this contact form.
Go to our Warranty & Aftercare page for the correct process. You’ll find:

  • What’s covered under warranty (and what isn’t)
  • How to send photos for assessment
  • How to request a Return ID
  • Why we can’t accept unapproved returns

If you send something back without authorisation, it will not be processed. Always get a Return ID first.

Aftercare & repairs

Got worn gear that needs some love? Wet-through jacket that might just need reproofing? Zip or hardware issue from heavy use?
Check our Následná péče a opravy page. We cover cleaning, reproofing, simple fixes and what can (and can’t) be repaired.

Not sure if it’s repairable or if it’s a warranty situation? Send clear photos to aftercare@fortiseyewear.co.uk and we’ll tell you which route makes sense.

Response times

We aim to respond as quickly as possible on normal working days (Mon–Fri, excluding bank holidays). If you’re chasing something time-sensitive — like lens choice before a trip or frame availability at a local stockist — calling is usually fastest.
