Fortis products are designed to perform — and with the right care, they'll last even longer.
Below you'll find guidance for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing your Fortis sunglasses and clothing.

Fortis Eyewear

• Clean lenses only with the Fortis microfibre cloth provided
• Do not use chemical sprays or glass cleaners — only use Fortis Lens Cleaner
• Always store sunglasses in a protective case to avoid lens scratches or frame damage

Fortis Clothing

• Follow the garment care label for specific washing and drying instructions
• Machine wash cold (30°C max) on a gentle cycle using non-biological liquid detergent
• Do not use fabric softeners, dryer sheets, or bleach
• Rinse thoroughly and do not wring
• To restore water repellency, use a cool tumble dry or low-heat iron (if care label permits)
• To restore water repellency, use a Nikwax Tech Wash followed by the TX Direct wash in waterproofing

Garment Repairs

• For approved repairs (e.g. zips, seams, membrane patches), our team will provide a quote
• Repair costs typically range from £10–£100 depending on the nature of the issue
• All garments must be cleaned before returning
• Unwashed items will incur a £25 cleaning fee before assessment or repair
• Do not send any items unless instructed by the Fortis aftercare team
