Tonford and not forgetting the mighty Conningbrook, where Simon landed Two Tone from at a record breaking 65.14, have all been left in his wake. Since then, Simon has kept a very much under the radar profile enjoying the pursuit of some of the very greatest Carp that have ever swam.

After conquering Kent, The Colne Valley was next on the hit list, and fish like the Black Mirror, Daisy and the Chertsey big un at over 60lb made Simon the first angler to land two different (proper) UK 60lb+ fish. In the edge… out long… from a boat… days only… windswept or intimate and with a determination and resilience like no angler around, no Carp is safe…
